Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

AirDeck ("we," "our," or "us") is an Android application developed by Bitrize Plus that turns your phone into a wireless Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, and media remote for computers (Windows, Mac, Linux). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the AirDeck application ("App").

By downloading, installing, or using AirDeck, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

AirDeck is designed with privacy in mind. The App:

• Does not require user accounts or logins — there is no registration, email, or password collection
• Does not collect personal information — no names, email addresses, phone numbers, or personally identifiable information
• Does not collect keystrokes or input data — what you type using the Bluetooth keyboard is sent directly to the connected computer via Bluetooth HID and is never logged, stored, or transmitted by the App
• Does not transmit data to our servers — we do not operate any servers that receive data from the App
• Does not track your location — location permission, if requested on older Android versions, is required solely for Bluetooth device scanning

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

AirDeck stores the following data locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device:

• User Preferences: Mouse sensitivity, acceleration, tap-to-click settings, keyboard layout, theme, and other configuration options
• Last Connected Device: The Bluetooth MAC address of the last connected computer, stored to allow quick reconnection

You can clear this data at any time by clearing the App's data or cache in your Android device settings, or by uninstalling the App.

4. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions, each for a specific purpose:

4.1 Bluetooth Permissions

• BLUETOOTH_SCAN & BLUETOOTH_CONNECT (Android 12 / API 31+): To discover nearby Bluetooth devices and establish connections
• BLUETOOTH & ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION (Android 11 and below): Required by Android to scan for Bluetooth devices on older OS versions. Location data is not collected or stored — the permission is required by the Android Bluetooth scanning API

4.2 Camera Permission

• CAMERA: Used solely for the QR code scanner feature, allowing you to scan a Bluetooth device address from a QR code. Camera input is processed locally and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted

4.3 Other Permissions

• VIBRATE: To provide haptic feedback on key presses
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required for displaying advertisements via Google AdMob
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE: To keep the Bluetooth HID connection alive in the background while you use the App

You can manage these permissions through your device settings at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

AirDeck uses the following third-party service:

Google AdMob (Advertising)

AirDeck displays advertisements through Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads, native ads, and app open ads. Google AdMob may collect the following information in accordance with Google's advertising policies:

• Device advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
• IP address
• General device information (device model, OS version, screen size)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's ad settings or resetting your advertising ID in your Android settings under Settings > Privacy > Ads.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. The only data that leaves your device is the information collected by Google AdMob for advertising purposes, as described in Section 5. We have no access to this data.

7. Data Security

Since AirDeck does not collect or transmit personal data to any server, data security risks are minimal. All user preferences and settings are stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage mechanisms. Bluetooth communication uses the Bluetooth HID Device profile, which operates at the system level and is managed by Android's Bluetooth stack.

8. Data Deletion

Since AirDeck does not create user accounts or store data on external servers, you can delete all App data at any time by:

• Clearing the App's data or cache in your Android device settings (Settings > Apps > AirDeck > Storage > Clear Data)
• Uninstalling the App from your device

Either action will permanently remove all locally stored preferences and saved Bluetooth device addresses. No additional action is required since no data is stored on our servers.

9. Children's Privacy

AirDeck is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Since no personal data is collected, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data. However, the App does display advertisements served by Google AdMob, which are subject to Google's policies regarding children's privacy.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
